From 8-12 July 2026, Porticello comes alive with food, music, sea views, and late summer evenings on the waterfront.

From 8-12 July 2026, the seaside town of Porticello will host the Porticello Food Village, an evening food festival running daily from 18:00 to 01:00.

Set along the waterfront, the event brings together the things that make this part of Sicily so memorable: fresh local food, warm summer nights, sea air, and the lively atmosphere of a Sicilian fishing village after sunset.

What to Expect

Visitors can expect a relaxed open-air village atmosphere, with food stands, drinks, music, and plenty of space to wander, snack, and enjoy the evening by the water. It is the kind of event that works well before or after dinner: stop by for an aperitivo, try a few local specialties, or stay late and enjoy the crowd as the marina lights come on.

Porticello is especially known for its maritime character, so seafood will likely be the natural focus, but the appeal is just as much the setting as the food itself. Summer evenings here are slow, social, and best enjoyed without rushing.

A Good Evening Plan

A simple plan: arrive around sunset, take a walk by the harbor, visit the food stands, and then settle in with something to eat or drink while the town fills up for the night.

The event runs until 1:00 AM, so there is no need to arrive early unless you want a quieter stroll before the main evening crowd.
